Delete Your Data

AutoPost AI accesses your Instagram Business account via the Meta Graph API to publish content and collect analytics on your behalf. If you want to disconnect AutoPost and delete all data associated with your account, follow the steps below.

1. Disconnect AutoPost from Instagram

You can immediately revoke AutoPost's access to your Instagram account without contacting us:

  1. Go to your Facebook account settings
  2. Navigate to Security and Login → Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations)
  3. Find "AutoPost AI" in the list
  4. Click "Remove" to immediately revoke all access

This stops AutoPost from publishing to or reading from your Instagram account immediately.

2. Request full data deletion

To request deletion of all data we hold about you — brand config, analytics history, generated content:

Email us at hello@getautopost.com with the subject line:
"Data Deletion Request — [Your Brand Name]"

We will:

  • Confirm receipt within 24 hours
  • Delete all your data from our systems within 30 days
  • Send you a confirmation email when deletion is complete

Data we will delete:

  • Your brand configuration (Instagram token, brand assets, settings)
  • All post performance analytics stored in our database
  • Generated content history
  • All records in our workflow system

3. What happens to published content

Content already published to your Instagram feed is not affected — it lives on your Instagram account and can be managed directly through Instagram. We do not store copies of published posts on our servers beyond the Cloudinary image URLs, which are also deleted upon request.
