AutoPost AI ("AutoPost", "we", "us") is a done-for-you Instagram content automation service, run out of India. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have — in plain language, not legalese. AutoPost is a small, founder-run service, and this policy is written to reflect that.
1. What data we collect
From clients, during onboarding and service delivery
- Brand name, Instagram handle, and business details
- Your Instagram Business Account access token, obtained via Meta/Facebook OAuth
- Your Facebook Page ID
- Brand assets — logo, color codes, and product descriptions
- Your Telegram chat ID, used to send you notifications
- Email address and other contact information
- Billing details — we don't collect or store these ourselves. They're collected directly by our payment processor, Razorpay
From Instagram, via the official Graph API, on your behalf
Once your account is connected, we collect post performance data — reach, impressions, likes, comments, saves, and profile visits for each post. This data is stored in our Supabase (PostgreSQL) database and is used to power your analytics and the self-learning content pipeline.

Standard server logs only — IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We don't currently use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this website.
2. How we use this data
- To deliver the AutoPost service — generating and publishing Instagram content on your behalf
- To run the self-learning analytics pipeline that improves your content's performance week over week
- To send Telegram notifications about post publishing and analytics
We do not sell client data to any third party. We do not use your Instagram data for any purpose other than delivering the service you signed up for.
3. Where your data is stored
- Instagram tokens and brand configuration — stored in Notion (Notion.so)
- Post performance analytics — stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted by Supabase Inc., USA
- Generated images — stored in Cloudinary (Cloudinary Ltd., USA)
- Workflow automation — processed via n8n on our AWS EC2 server (ap-south-1, Mumbai region)
4. Third-party services we use
AutoPost is built on a small number of trusted services. Each one only receives the data it needs to do its job:
- Meta / Instagram Graph API — for publishing content
- Notion — brand configuration and content calendar storage
- Supabase — analytics database
- Cloudinary — image storage and delivery
- Anthropic Claude API — AI content generation
- fal.ai — AI image generation
- Razorpay — payment processing (we never see or store your card details)
- Telegram — notifications
- AWS EC2 — hosting infrastructure
5. How long we keep your data
- Client data is retained for the duration of your service contract
- On cancellation, your data is deleted within 30 days of your request
- Analytics data in Supabase may be retained for up to 12 months for performance benchmarking, then deleted
6. Your rights
- You can request access to the data we hold about you, at any time
- You can request deletion of all your data by emailing hello@getautopost.com
- You can revoke our access to your Instagram account at any time from your Facebook settings, without needing to contact us
7. Instagram & Meta platform policy
- We access Instagram data only through Meta's official Graph API — we do not scrape Instagram
- Your Instagram access token is used solely for publishing content and collecting analytics on your own account
- We comply with Meta Platform Terms and the Instagram Platform Policy
8. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll notify active clients by email. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
